Langford Joins Men's Soccer Roster

MEMPHIS, Tenn.- University of Memphis men's soccer coach Richie Grant announced Friday that local soccer standout Paul Langford has joined the squad for the 2013 season. After graduating early from Bolton High School in December of 2012, Langford has already enrolled in classes at the U of M and begun spring workouts with the Tigers.
"I'm really pleased to have a local player coming on board with our program," head coach Richie Grant said. "I'm very excited to have him here during the spring so we can get him ready for the 2013 season."
Langford played forward at Tipton Rosemark Academy as an eighth and ninth grader where he was the squads leading scorer both years. In his ninth grad season, the forward was tabbed All-District.
Langford transferred to Bolton High School where he at that time opted to play as an amateur in various leagues. The Tipton County product saw successes with a variety of teams including: The Dragons (2006), Falcons (2007), Lobos (2007, 2008, 2011, and 2012), Midsouth FC (2009, 2010), and Tennessee ODP (2011).
