MEMPHIS, Tenn. - In its first contest of spring training, the Memphis men's soccer team is traveling to Frisco, Texas for a friendly against FC Dallas. Facing the full roster from FC Dallas, the Tigers have an opportunity to go toe-to-toe with some of the premier soccer players in the country.

Memphis is coming off one of its best seasons in recent history, but has to replace Parker Duncan, Cody McCoy and Thomas Shannon, who exhausted their eligibility this past fall. The Tigers return Third Team All-American and Conference USA Player of the Year Mark Sherrod. Also returning for the U of M are all-conference honorees Liam Collins (first team), J.J. Greer (second team) and Conor Hurley (third team).

In all, the Tigers will play five games this spring that are sandwiched around an exhibition tour in Brazil. For updates on the men's soccer team and all-Tigers athletics, follow GoTigersGo.com.
