MEMPHIS, Tenn. - Memphis men's soccer signee Justin Watson, a native of Myrtle Beach, S.C., was among 26 players to be invited to a domestic training camp to be held at the Home Depot Center in Carson, Calif., April 18-26. Watson, a member of US U-18 pool was selected by US U-18 head coach Mike Matkovich to be a part of the training camp.

Watson, a senior at Socastee High School near Myrtle Beach, S.C., racked up 27 goals and 18 assists for his squad during his junior season leading to his selection to SCSoccer.com's 2008 Super XXII team. Watson be will among nine other freshman signees who will join Richie Grant's squad in the fall of 2009. Watson and the others will join a young squad that includes a core of seniors, supplemented by sophomores who earned their share of playing time in their initial seasons for the Tigers in 2008.
