Men's Soccer Program to Host Youth Soccer Camp in June

The University of Memphis men's soccer program will host its annual Youth Soccer Camp for boys and girls ages five to 14 on Monday, June 14 through Friday, June 18 and Monday, June 21 through Friday, June 25.
The theme for the Memphis Youth Soccer Camp revolves around the 2010 World Cup which will begin on June 11 in South Africa and run through July 11. Participants in the camp will be able to catch several World Cup matches during the camp which offers both half-day sessions and full-day sessions. Campers will get the opportunity to develop their skills in the game of soccer by learning from top area coaches and players.
The camp costs $89 for those interested in participating in the half-day camp and $175 for full-day campers. The camp will be conducated at the University of Memphis' Park Avenue Campus located on the corner of Park Avenue and Getwell Road, which houses both indoor and outdoor facilities including an indoor turf room, changing room and training room.
Each camper is required to bring a soccer ball, shin guards, soccer cleats, indoor shoes, sunscreen, a water bottle and snacks or a lunch. Water will be provided for the participants on site.
