Journal Entry 2 - April 20, 2006

Things here in D.C. are going pretty well. We are currently 2-0-1, having beaten Chivas USA and Houston the last two weeks. Last Saturday I was sent to Richmond to play for the Kickers. I'm "on loan" with them throughout this season, which will let me get some valuable playing time and experience. I'm not playing with the first team here in D.C., so when Richmond called and needed a forward, I was very excited at the opportunity. In my first game last Saturday with the Kickers, we tied 1-1 against the Virginia Beach Mariners.

This coming Saturday is the regular season opener for the Kickers, against

Cincinnati. D.C. United plays at NY Saturday at 4 p.m., with this being the second meeting of the season. The reserve league starts up for us April 30th, but we have a friendly against a PDL team on Monday, April 24th here in D.C.

I finally got moved into a townhouse early last week, so it is good to have a place to call home. I don't want to see another hotel room for a long time! Well that is it for now. I'll be back soon! God Bless!
