Former men's soccer player Adam Montgomery (2004-2007) is featured in the latest edition of The University of Memphis Magazine in a story on his service in the Peace Corps which began in 2008 in Paraguay. Montgomery is in Paraguay as a two-year service commitment with the Peace Corps. Paraguay is the second-poorest South American Country, where families make about $4,500 annually.
