Memphis Soccer Wraps Up First Week of Youth Camp

MEMPHIS, Tenn. - The University of Memphis concluded the first week of its youth camp, Friday, on the training pitch at the U of M's Park Avenue Campus. "Great first week of camp," said assistant coach Nick Glaser. "Loads of kids came out and had a great time. We think next week will be just as successful." Area youth ages 5-14 showed up for a week of dribbling, passing, shooting and learning about the game from Memphis players and coaches, with help from other coaches in the area. Spots are still available for next week's camp, running from Monday, June 13-Friday, June 17 from 8:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. Cost is $110 per camper, and parents must fill out and return the attached document at the top of the page. Also, today was the last day for online sign-up for the 2011 Richie Grant soccer camp, scheduled for June 26-30. Parents can still download and fill out this form and bring it at the beginning of camp to register a child.
