University of Memphis junior Robbie Greenwell fired back-to-back 68s on Wednesday and Thursday in Buffalo, N.Y., to take second place at the U.S. Amateur qualifier and earn a place at the 2006 U.S. Amateur at Hazeltine National Golf Club in Chaska, Minn.

The U.S. Amateur berth is the highlight of an already successful summer for Georgetown, Ontario, native, who last month finished second at his home province's amateur tournament and earned a spot at the 2006 Canadian Amateur Championships Aug. 12-18 at the Mississaugua Golf and Country Club.
