MEMPHIS, Tenn.- University of Memphis men's soccer player Benjamin Ciosanski was named the Tennessee Sports Writers Association (TSWA) Men's Soccer Player of the Week, the organization announced on Tuesday. This is the second time this season a Memphis player has received the award.

The Bemen, Germany native notched two goals including the game-winner in double-time in Memphis' recent 2-1 over FIU. The sophomore transfer has netted three goals this season and recorded 6 points in his first year wearing the Blue and Gray.

The Tigers return the home pitch for their final two regular season home games of the season on Wednesday against UAB and Friday against No. 14 SMU. Both kickoffs are slated for 7 p.m. (CT) at Mike Rose Stadium. Memphis' Friday showdown with No. 14 SMU will be broadcast live on FOX Soccer Channel as the NSCAA Game of the Week.
