MEMPHIS, Tenn. - The College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) announced Friday that senior forward Parker Duncan and sophomore forward Mark Sherrod have been named to the CoSIDA Academic All-District 3 Team.

Duncan, who led Memphis in scoring each of his first three years as a Tiger, has been named to the Academic All-District Team for the third-consecutive year. The Knoxville, Tenn., native is a three-time member of the C-USA All-Academic team, the C-USA Commissioner's Honor Roll and recipient of the Commissioner's Academic Medal. He is majoring in biology and holds a 3.88 GPA.

This marks the first Academic All-District nomination for Sherrod, the nation's leader in points, points per game, goals and goals per game. Sherrod is a two-time member of C-USA's All-Academic Team and Commissioner's Honor Roll, as well as receiving the C-USA Academic Medal. The Civil Engineering-major carries a 3.59 GPA.

Memphis (11-5-1, C-USA 4-4) will travel to Tulsa, Okla. for the Conference USA Tournament. The Tigers' seed and opponent has yet to be determined. Check GoTigersGo.com for updates on men's soccer and all Tiger athletics.
