NSCAA Division I All-Midwest Region Team

MEMPHIS, Tenn.-Mark Sherrod and Liam Collins were named to the NSCAA Division I All-Midwest Region first team the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) announced on Monday. This marks the second year in a row that the duo has received All-Region first team honors.

Sherrod finished the 2012 campaign with 12 goals, 4 assists and 28 points. The Knoxville, Tenn., native received All-Conference USA first team honors and the 2012 C-USA Offensive Player of the Year award for the second straight year. Sherrod is one of only two players to repeat as the C-USA Offensive Player of the Year in back-to-back years.

Collins wrapped up the 2012 campaign with seven assists, two goals and 11 points. The junior tied for third in assists and assists per game (.39) in C-USA, receiving All-C-USA first team honors for his efforts. Collins is second all-time in program history with 24 career assists.
