MEMPHIS - Robert Sausaman and Jordan Lynn both earned placement on the NSCAA All-South Region Academic team recently. Sausaman and Lynn, who both finished their careers as Tigers on the soccer pitch earlier this fall, were named to the team honoring the region's top soccer players on and off the field.

The honor is Sausaman's third academic honor of the 2008 season. The native of Gainesville, Fla., also garnered mention as an ESPN The Magazine/CoSIDA Academic All-Distric IV selection, as well as being named to the C-USA All-Academic team. Sausaman currently holds a 3.81 gpa in business finance. During his four year career, the defender has earned Academic All-District and All-South Region honors on two occasions. 2008 was the third consecutive season that Sausaman has been named to the C-USA All-Academic team.

This is Lynn's first academic honor of his four year career. The native of Rockwall, Texas, has maintained a 3.485 gpa while pursuing international business as his major.
