Fall 2003: Was 5-6 in singles during the fall, falling to UALR's Walter Whitmire 7-6 (4), 0-6, 10-7 in the opening round of the Middle Tennessee Tournament before bouncing back to win his next two matches, his longest winning streak of the season... Then fell to Georgia Southern's Lasha Janashia, 9-7, in the consolation championship match...Fell to Janashia again just five days later, this time in the first round of the Southern Intercollegiate Championships, 6-4, 6-4...Came back to down Jacksonville's Brian Garfield, 6-2, 6-4, and Georgia State's Matija Sulin, 67-4, 4-6, 1-0 (3) before falling to Taavo Roos from Armstrong Atlantic State in the consolation draw...Beat Gustavo Anzola of UT Martin in the Southeast Regionals before falling to Reid Bourgeois, 6-2, 6-0, of Southern Miss...Was one of the `lucky losers' who got another match at the regional when an opponent had to withdraw due ot illness, facing Dominik Hecht, and falling 6-2, 6-1...Was 1-2 in doubles, 1-1 with fellow walk-on Andrew Olswing as a partner...Also teamed with Alex Jago and the duo fell just short in a 9-7 loss to UAB's Sanzaruz Zaman and Ruben Zrihen at the ITA Southeast Regionals.

Prep: Was home schooled in the Memphis area, but played junior tennis as part of the program at The Racquet Club of Memphis.
