Spring 1999: Finished the spring season with a 19-6 singles record, including a 9-2 record at No. 3 and a 10-4 record at No. 4 Singles...Finished with a 16-5 doubles record, incluidng a 15-5 record at No. 3 doubles...teamed with Michael LaHaie for a 13-3 record at No. 3 doubles.
Spring 1998: Finished his freshman campaign with a 16-3 overall record in singles...Saw most playing time at the No. 3 position, where he compiled an 8-1 record...Named Conference USA Player of the Week after leading the Tigers to a 4-1 record in one week, where he swept four singles and doubles matches...Teamed with Alistair Todd in doubles to compile an 11-2 record...Went 8-2 at the No. 2 position in doubles in 1998.

Coach Chamberlain's Comments:Daniel's performance in 1999 was the most consistent of the team. He maintained the highest winning percentage of any player, starting the season at No. 4 and finishing at No. 3.
Daniel competes very well and seldom puts in poor performances. He prides himself on his ability to compete against any type of player.
He will have a successful season because of his competitive skills and consistency.
