After their very successful 2012-13 season, the Memphis men's tennis team was awarded with their C-USA Championship rings.

Spring 2014: Leaves Memphis as the program's all-time career doubles wins leader with a career mark of 97-37 ... Also set the school single season singles victories total with 25 victories during the entire 2014-15 season ... Voted to American Athletic Conference All-conference singles and doubles teams ... Voted the ITA Ohio Valley's Most Improved Senior...He and teammate David O'Hare are the only Tigers in school history to earn all-conference doubles honors for three seasons ... Led Memphis with 25 singles wins on the year, including a 15-5 mark in dual season play ... Is 1-1 on the year at No. 1 singles and 14-4 at No. 2 ... Faced eight ranked opponents in singles play during the spring, sporting a 4-4 mark .. Picked up his first ranked win of the spring in the first match of the spring, defeating Georgia's No. 48 ranked Ben Wagland, 5-6, 6-3, 6-4 at the Georgia Tech tournament ... Salisbury was ranked No. 56 in singles at the time of that win ... Lost to No. 15 Nik Scholtz of Ole Miss, 6-0, 5-6, 6-2 to close the Georgia Tech tournament ... Picked up his second ranked win of the year in the opening ITA Kickoff Classic match, defeating No. 103 ranked Kyle Koch of South Caroloina, 6-5. 6-4 ... Lost to Mississippi State's No. 39 ranked Malte Stropp, 6-5, 6-5 in the ITA Second Round ... Faced a top 10 opponent when he played at No. 1 singles against No. 10 Gonzales Austin of Vanderbilt, falling 6-1, 6-7 (3), 6-2 ... Picked up his third win over a ranked opponent with a 6-4, 4-6, 6-0 win over Harvard's No. 103 ranked Shaun Chaudhuri ...His ranking of No. 56 from Jan. 18 to Jan. 31st was a season-best ... Also ranked No. 65 in February ... Teamed with David O'Hare to face 11 ranked opponents in doubles play, finishing with a 4-3 with four unfinished matches versus ranked foes ... Fell 6-3 to No. 12 ranked team of Hernus Pieters and Ben Wagland of Georgia to start the spring ... Opened ITA Kickoff Classic with a 6-5 win over the No. 24 ranked team of Chip Cox and Kyle Koch of South Carolina ... Suffered a tiebreak loss, 8-7 (3) at Vanderbilt to No. 6 ranked Gonzales Austin and Ryan Lipman, then bounced back with an 8-7 tiebreak win on the road at No. 25 Harvard against the No. 14 ranked team of Denis Nguyen and Casey MacMaster ... Also defeated No. 43 ranked Alexis Heugas and Nick Jones of UCF and No. 32 ranked Roberto Cid and Sasha Gozun of USF in the regular season ... Had a 10-match winning streak snapped in the semifinals of the American Athletic Conference tournament, falling 8-5, to the now-ranked team of Misha Nowicki and Arkidjas Slobodkins ... The duo became the first in Memphis history under Paul Goebel to qualify for the NCAA Doubles Championship draw, where they fell to Penn State's No. 26 ranked team of Russell Bader and Leonard Stakhovsky ... Named to the Tiger 3.0 Club.
Fall 2013: Went 8-5 in singles play during the fall season ... Advanced to the round of 16 at the ITA Ohio Valley Regionals in Knoxville, Tenn., defeating Ellefsen 6-3, 7-6 (Kentucky) and Damrongsri 2-6, 6-3, 6-2 (Louisville) ... Won 2 matches at the Virginia Ranked +1 Tournament with wins over Fortmann 2-6, 7-5, 6-3 (Elon) and Williams 6-4, 6-3 (UNCW) ... Won 3 straight matches at the Players Choice Open defeating Rebol 6-0, 6-3 (USA), Johnson 7-5, 6-3 (USA) and Zimmerman 6-4, 6-1 (Germany) ... Teamed up with David O'Hare as the No. 18 ranked doubles team ... Posted a 10-4 doubles record and went 3-1 versus ranked opponents ... Took down the No. 6 ranked doubles team of Angus/Stropp 8-5 (Miss. St.) at the ITA All American in Tulsa, OK ... Salisbury and O'Hare won the ITA Ohio Valley Regionals in Knoxville, TN defeating Cornea/Fox 8-6 (MTSU) in the finals ... Along the way, the tandem defeated Kentucky (8-4), Purdue (8-7), Morehead (8-1) and the No. 1 ranked doubles team of Libietis/Reese 8-4 (Tennessee) in the semifinals ... While at the ITA National Indoor Intercollegiate in Flushing Meadows, NY., defeated No. 57 Orkin/Watson 8-6 (Florida).
Spring 2013: Named All-C-USA First Team doubles for a second straight season and also named All-C-USA second team singles...Voted to the C-USA All-Academic Team...Tied with Connor Glennon for the team lead with 23 singles victories on the season...Posted a 23-16 overall mark in singles play...Was 5-9 at No. 2 singles, 1-1 at No. 1 in dual season play....Faced a team-high 13 ranked opponents on the season, picking up three wins over ranked foes...Teamed with David O'Hare to finish the year as the No. 39 ranked doubles team in the country...The duo won nine straight matches to close the season, including a win over the No. 3 ranked team of Nik Scholtz and Jonas Lutjen of Ole Miss in the NCAA regional finals...Also picked up a ranked win in the NCAA Round of 16 in doubles with a 8-2 victory over the No. 43 ranked team of Sebastian Fanselow and Francis Alcantara of Pepperdine...Started the season teamed with David O'Leary in doubles, then reunited with Dave O'Hare in late March...That tandem defeated the No. 24 ranked team of Alexis Heugas and Dylan McCloskey and then ripped off eight more consecutive wins to close the year...Moved up to No. 1 singles in the NCAA First Round with the injury to Connor Glennon and picked up the 7-5, 6-4 victory over BYU's Frances Sargeant...Three of his last four singles opponents were ranked in the top 62 in the country in singles play...Was 25-8 in doubles for the year.
Fall 2012: Had a remarkable fall season finishing with a record of 16-5 in singles matches ... Defeated Kosta Blank of UNCW (4-6, 6-3, 6-3) at the Virginia Invitational before falling short to #2 nationally ranked Jarmere Jenkins (Virginia) 4-6, 4-6 ... Finished sixth in the orange singles draw... Won 7 straight matches at the ITA Men's All-American Championships to advance all the way from the pre-qualifying draw to the main draw, with his biggest win coming over William Kallberg of Ole Miss (nationally ranked #56) 6-1, 6-3 ... He becomes the first Tiger in school history to play in the main draw singles bracket at the ITA All-American ... Other wins included: UNLV, Duke, Oklahoma, Florida, UNF, and William & Mary ... Posted 3 straight wins at the USTA/ITA Regional Championships making it to the round of 16 .. Had wins over Oliver Strecker of Lipscomb (6-1, 6-2), Ettore Zito of Middle Tennessee (7-6, 7-6), and Sebast Stiefelmeyer of Louisville (nationally ranked #70) 6-1, 2-6, 7-5 ... Finished off the fall singles season winning his last four matches at the USA F30 Futures in Pensacola, Florida by reaching the round of 16 ... On the way, he defeated: Oleg Mironchikov of Russia (6-0, 6-0), Amyn Soldier-Mukadam of USA (7-5, 7-6), Eddie Neese of USA (3-6, 6-4, 6-2), and Stefan Vinti of ROU (6-4, 3-6, 7-6) to qualify for the main draw .. In the main draw, he lost to Jason Jung of the USA, 7-5, 6-0 ... Jung was the No. 591 ranked player in the world at the time ... Posted an 8-3 record for doubles matches for the fall season with teammate David O'Leary ... Won 2 of 3 matches at the Virginia Invitational over opponents from NC State (8-3) and Louisville (8-4) ... This sparked a span of four consecutive wins for the tandem, with three of them being at the ITA Men's All-American Championships in Tulsa, Oklahoma by defeating Wake Forest, UNLV, and Hawaii ... Finished off the fall doubles season by winning their last three out of four matches ... Wins came over Vanderbilt (8-2), Middle Tennessee (8-6), and ETSU (8-6) in the quarterfinals before falling short to Tom Jomby/Kevin Lai of Kentucky (8-2) at the USTA/ITA Regional Championships.
Spring 2012:All-Conference USA Doubles First Team with partner David O'Hare ... Posted 10-11 mark in singles, including 7-4 on court three, and 15-7 record at No. 1 doubles with O'Hare ... Defeated 119th-ranked Hunter Reese of No. 13 Tennessee, 1-6, 7-6 (5), 7-6 (5), after staving off several match-points in the second set to help the U of M beat the Vols, 4-3 ... Posted a two-set victory against No. 47 Rice's Michael Nuesslein in the C-USA Championship semifinals ... Teamed with Salisbury to defeat No. 43 Vanderbilt's Gonzalez and Bazarnik, 8-5 ... Posted an 8-6 win against Diego Galeano and Mate Zsiga in Memphis' NCAA first round match against No. 25 Baylor, helping Memphis claim the doubles point ... Tandem also posted wins against No. 70 Stetson and No. 65 UAB ... Duo won six-straight matches that included the win over Vanderbilt and win's against East Carolina and Old Dominion ... Began season ranked No. 47 (with O'Hare) in doubles ... Ended season with doubles ranking of No. 86.
Fall 2011:Posted a 5-3 singles record during fall play ... Won two matches over Badr Cherradi (SIU) and David Zimmerman (UAB) during the MTSU Dale Short Shootout ... Posted a 6-0, 6-1 win over TCU's Will Stein in the first round of pre-qualifying at the ITA All-American Championships ... Won back-to-back matches over Ryuji Hirook of Kentucky and Wright State's Martin Arguello in the USTA/ITA Ohio Valley Regional Championships ... Teamed with David O'Hare for an impressive 10-3 doubles record ... Opened the fall with a doubles championship at the Dale Short Shootout ... Followed that with a run into the consolation quarterfinals of the doubles main draw at the ITA All-American Championships ... Defeated top-10 UCLA doubles team of Adrien Puget and Alex Brigham 9-8 (11).
Spring 2011:Finished his sophomore season with a 12-10 record at the No. 1 and No. 2 single positions...went 11-9 at the No. 2 slot...defeated #47 Oklahoma State...had conference wins against Tulane and UAB... Teamed with David O'Hare for a 16-7 doubles record at the No. 1 and No. 2 slot...The duo went 12-4 at the No. 2 slot...Salisbury and O'Hare picked up victories over Conference USA opponents East Carolina, #33 Rice, Tulane, Southern Miss, UCF, and #36 Tulsa.
Fall 2010: Kicked off his Tiger career with a wins over Alex Sajonz (Samford), 7-6, 6-2, and Richard Gamble (Lee, Tenn.), 6-2, 7-6 (2) at UTC Fall Classic before losing his third match to Parul Verma (EKU) in three sets, 4-6, 6-3, 6-1...Invited to the Ohio Valley Regional Championships in singles as a freshman...Went 1-2 at the at the Louisville Winter Invitational, with his win coming against 13th-ranked Adam Donaldson of Louisville, 6-2, 6-0...along with fellow freshman, David O'Hare, enters spring of 2010 ranked 52nd in the nation in doubles action...combined with O'Hare to go 4-1 during doubles, including winning their first three matches together at the Southern Intercollegiates...teamed with O'Hare to defeat the duo of Alexand Kostanov and Chris Sheehan, from 57th-ranked South Carolina, 8-3, in the round of 64 at the Southern Intercollegiates.
Prior to Memphis: Most recently played for men's team at Surrey State in England...He had a career-high ETA ranking of 174...Trained at the Sutton Tennis Center under Jeremy Bates and part time at the national training center in Roehampton, England...Ranked as high as the No. 2 ranked junior in Britain U16.
