Spring 2001: Magney again stepped up to play at No. 1 singles for the Tiger squad, struggling against a load of nationally-ranked opponents to finish with a 6-13 record at No. 1...Magney was 8-14 overall in singles play and was 0-1 in doubles play.

Fall 2000: Magney posted seven wins in both singles and doubles play in the fall...He was 2-1 in the ITA All-American Pre-Qualifier and was 1-1 in the qualifier and the ITA Region III Championships... When teamed with Ben Stapp, Magney was 4-1...The duo went 4-0 in the ITA All-America Prequalifier, finally being eliminated after advancing to the qualifying level with a loss to the team of Kloppert/Simon from Texas, 8-6.

Spring 2000: Had a 10-16 record at No. 1 singles during the spring while facing six nationally-ranked opponents, defeating No. 89 James Shortall of Ole Miss, 7-6, 6-4 and No. 64 Fabio Tintori of South Florida, 7-6, 4-6, 6-4...Teamed with Chris Buckley for a 6-8 record at No. 2 doubles and with Daniel Demacek for a 4-4 record at No. 2.

Fall 1999: Finished with a 6-7 record in the fall, including wins over Ole Miss' James Shortall and Indiana State's Baranowski, both of whom were nationally ranked in the spring...His best tournament performance came at the Louisville Invitational where he was the No. 4 seed and was 3-1...He was eliminated by top-seeded Tvrtko Kujundzic from Louisville, 6-4, 3-6, 6-7 (5).

Spring 1999: Was a third-team all-Conference USA recipient after posting a 14-8 record in his freshman season, finishing 11-6 at No. 1 singles and 3-2 at No. 2 singles...Teamed with Alistair Todd for a 13-9 record at No. 1 doubles.

Prep: Was a four-sport standout at St. Ignatius College, Riverview...Played soccer and tennis, and was also a member of the track team, where he competed in hurdles...The St. Ignatius track team and tennis team were GPS champions...Played No. 1 on the NSW tennis team, and was also team captain...Was coached by Richard Hart.
