Fall 2010: Began season 1-3 before reeling off six victories in a row during the fall slate...Several of his wins came from after a strong run at the Louisville Winter Invite where he won his first flight title of his career at the Louisville Winter Invite by defeating challengers from Drake and Chicago State...defeated Drake's Ryan Drake, 7-6 (7-5), 6-2 and Chicago State's Armaan Choudhary, 6-3, 6-2, on the first day of the Louisville Winter Invite...also took home first doubles title with partner Joan Marc Grimal-Ferrer beating Drake's Maurico Ballivian and Jonathan Hadash, 8-2...would earn the flight title at Louisville following Hadash retiring in their match, Oct. 31, for Taylor's first career title...went 1-1 at the Crimson Tide Fall Championships, defeating Ryan Bandy of 38th-ranked Notre Dame, 0-6, 6-3, 6-4...was teamed with Ferrer for most of the fall doubles season, going 5-1 as a duo...knocked off three doubles opponents from Drake and one from Butler to win the doubles title at the Louisville Invitational.
Spring 2010: Posted 12-6 singles mark at the No. 4, No. 5 and No. 6 positions...Went 5-0 at the No. 6 slot...Accumulated second-most singles wins for season...Picked up Conference USA singles victory over Tulane's Colby Kramer-Golinkof...Also picked up singles wins over foes from Arkansas-Pine Bluff, Chattanooga, Drake, Louisiana-Lafayette, Middle Tennessee, Murray State, North Alabama...Went 7-5 at the No. 2 and No. 3 slots with Michael Janz...Pair picked up Conference USA victory against UAB...Posted 3-2 doubles mark with Leon Nasemann...Teamed with Nasemann to pull off wins against pairs from No. 25 Oklahoma State and No. 34 Tulsa to help team take doubles point from ranked foes...Had 1-2 doubles record with Michael Hayes.
Fall 2009: Lost to Middle Tennessee's Matthew Langley, 6-2, 6-3, in the first round of singles at the Southern Intercollegiate Championships in Athens, Ga...Lost first round match at the Steve Baras Memorial Tournament to Jacksonville State's Nenad Marcec, 7-6(6), 6-3...Teamed with Spencer Heflin to advance to finals of A1 doubles flight at Steve Baras Memorial Tournament in Chattanooga...Upended Lee's Tyler Jeffers and Michael Yokosuk, 8-1, in the first round...Took down Austin Peay's Sean Bailey and Henrique Norbiato, 8-5, in the second round...Defeated Middle Tennessee's Richard Cowden and Matthew Langley, 8-6.
Prior to Memphis (Utah): Was part of Utah's Mountain West Conference Championship squad in 2007-08...As a sophomore at Utah, reached the third round in singles and quarterfinals in doubles at the ITA Mountain Regional tournament...Ended the fall at 3-3 in singles and 3-1 in doubles with partner Phillip Eilers...The pair topped Felipe Raw and Raydner Ramos of Montana, 8-6, to advance to the quarterfinals at the regional tournament...As a freshman, finished his first year with a 2-4 dual record and went 3-8 overall...Defeated Chris Parkes of New Mexico and Bryan Miller of UNLV, 6-2, 6-4...Had an overall doubles record of 6-2 with teammate Zach Granger...The pair had wins over Daniel Hwang and Evan Urbina of BYU, 8-3...Also teamed up with Othman Ouariti to compile a 4-6 record for dual doubles and overall...Defeated Austin Francis and Alex Beaussart of Air Force, 8-1.
