MEMPHIS, Tenn. - The University of Memphis men's tennis team won five of six singles matches and swept the doubles point in a 6-1 win over UT Martin Sunday. Memphis defeated another Ohio Valley Conference foe, UT Martin, 7-0, in the second of a three-match home stand to start the season.

Memphis opened the match by sweeping all three doubles matches. The Tigers then got singles wins from senior Amrit Narasimhan, junior Benedikt Fischer, sophomore Charlie Ramsay and freshmen Michael Gaerthoeffner and Leon Naseman to pick up their second win in as many tries.

The Tiger tennis team will remain at home for a third non-conference match to open the spring slate, hosting Southeastern Louisiana, Thursday, at 11 a.m.
