MEMPHIS, Tenn. - The University of Memphis men's tennis team (1-0) won its spring season opener, 5-2, over visiting UT-Chattanooga, Friday. Memphis won the doubles point by sweeping all three doubles matches before UTC battled back to go up 2-1 with wins at No. 1 and No. 2 singles. But Tiger singles wins in singles spots 3 through 6 helped the Tigers battle back for a 5-2 victory.
