Corpus Christi, Texas - Memphis, ranked 70th in the country, knocked off 59th-ranked UNLV, the tournament's number three seed, in the quarterfinals of the H.E.B. Collegiate Team Championships in Corpus Christi, Texas. The Tigers now advance to the semi-finals.

The doubles team of Ben Stapp and Lee Taylor Walker started the match with an 8-0 whitewash of Leslie Eisenga and Aviram Salomon. The Tigers captured the doubles point with a win at number three by Michael LaHaie and Alex Bucewicz, 8-6.

Joe Schmulian, Richard Magney and Bucewicz all won at singles to seal the victory.
