LITTLE ROCK, Ark. - The University of Memphis men's tennis team picked up a 4-2 win over Arkansas-Pine Bluff on Monday in Little Rock, Ark. The two teams played only singles on Monday after having to move the match indoors. The Tigers record now stands at 6-7 on the season.

At No. 1 singles, David Henry lost 6-4, 7-5, to Hugo Gomez. Henry's record stands at 4-8 on the year.

At the No. 2 spot, Michael Hayes fell 6-4, 6-2, to Eduardo Luque. Hayes; record on the 2010 spring season is now at 3-6 on the year.

At No. 3 singles, Michael Janz, a junior from Lousanne, Switzerland, picked up a 6-2, 6-0, victory over Andres Rio Bueno. Janz is 6-7 in singles on the season.

At the No. 4 slot, Michael Gaethoeffner upended Bruno Hurtado, 6-1, 6-4. Gaerthoeffner has a record of 8-4 on the season.

At No. 5 singles, John Taylor improved to 6-3 with a 6-0, 6-1, win over Tito Bonadonna.

At the No. 6 slot, Spencer Heflin upended Jorge Villacis, 6-1, 6-4. Heflin is 2-0 in singles on the year.

The Tigers will return to the court on Tues., Mar. 16, for a home tilt with Murray State at 2 p.m.
