Men's Tennis Bounces Back With 6-1 Win

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - The University of Memphis men's tennis team (6-9 overall) bounced back from a tough 4-3 loss at UAB with a 6-1 win at Birmingham Southern, Sunday. The Tigers won all three doubles matches to go up 1-0 early, then won five of six singles matches, with an injured Benedikt Fischer battling, but falling at No. 3 singles. Memphis got straight set wins at No. 1 singles from Amrit Narasimhan and No. 2 singles from Jimmy Khougassian. Cody Loup also used a straight set win at No. 5, while teammates Charlie Ramsay and Spencer Heflin each came back from second set losses to claim their respective singles matches in the third set.
