BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - The University of Memphis men's tennis team (6-9 overall) bounced back from a tough 4-3 loss at UAB with a 6-1 win at Birmingham Southern, Sunday. The Tigers won all three doubles matches to go up 1-0 early, then won five of six singles matches, with an injured Benedikt Fischer battling, but falling at No. 3 singles.

Memphis got straight set wins at No. 1 singles from Amrit Narasimhan and No. 2 singles from Jimmy Khougassian. Cody Loup also used a straight set win at No. 5, while teammates Charlie Ramsay and Spencer Heflin each came back from second set losses to claim their respective singles matches in the third set.

The Tigers are off for a week and will host Southeastern Louisiana, Apr. 4th.
