Men's Tennis Falls at No. 22 Baylor, 5-0

WACO, Texas - - Baylor University (13-4) got singles wins from all four of its ranked singles players to post a 5-0 win over No. 34 Memphis (7-6), Thursday.
Baylor went up 1-0 with an 8-6 win at No. 2 doubles and an 8-3 win at No. 3 doubles to close out doubles play.
The Bears then got a 6-4, 6-0 win at No. 1 singles to go up 2-0. Memphis' Joe Salisbury almost battled back from a 6-1 first set loss at No. 2, but came up short, 7-5, in the second set. Johnny Grimal then had his three-match winning streak snapped when Baylor's Tony Lupieri won the third set of their match at No. 4 singles, 6-1, 3-6, 6-3. At about the same time, Baylor's Mate Zsiga closed out a straight set win over Lukas Vrnak, 6-4, 6-4, to give Baylor the 5-0 victory.
The Tigers will remain on the road and will play at No. 36 TCU, Saturday, at 1 p.m.
