Men's Tennis Sweeps VCU

Glennon picked up a three-set victory at No. 1 on Saturday. It was his 14th victory of the season.
Playing its final regular season match outside of Memphis, the No. 31 University of Memphis men's tennis team (11-4) swept No. 45 VCU, 4-0, in a neutral site match at the University of Louisville Saturday afternoon.
Memphis took a 1-0 lead with doubles victories at No. 1 and No. 3, then closed out their 11th victory of the season with singles victories from Connor Glennon at No. 1, from Joe Salisbury at No. 2 and from Johnny Grimal at No. 4.
The win was No. 18 on the season for Grimal, No. 21 for Salisbury and No. 14 for Glennon, who improved to 8-3 at No. 1 on the season for the Tigers.
Memphis will close out the regular season at home next week, hosting UCF, Friday, at noon, and USF, Sunday at noon. Both matches will be played at The Racquet Club of Memphis and admission is free.
