Tiger Tennis Falls 6-1
April 11, 2007
MEMPHIS, Tenn. - The University of Memphis men's tennis team had the unfortunate luck to face a UALR team that was looking for its' school-record 20th win of the season without the Tigers' No. 1 singles player, Amrit Narasimhan. While Spencer Heflin battled for a 7-5, 7-5 win at No. 5 singles, that was the lone win the Tigers could manage while falling to 8-11 on the season. Memphis will close out its regular season, Saturday, at No. 44 Middle Tennessee in Murfreesboro. The team will participate in the Conference USA Championships at Rice University in Houston next weekend. UALR 6, Memphis 1 Match Notes:
