Men's Tennis Falls at No. 44 Middle Tennessee

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. -
The University of Memphis men's tennis team (8-12) closed out its regular season with an abbreviated match indoors at Middle Tennessee, falling 5-0. The Tigers and the Blue Raiders were tied at 1-1 in the quest for the doubles point after Garrison Pilant and Spencer Heflin won their No. 3 match, 8-5, but Middle Tennessee won at No. 2 doubles, 8-5, to go up 1-0 early in the match.
The Blue Raiders then picked up wins at No. 4 and 3 singles and got straight set victories from their two nationally-ranked singles players to close out the win 5-0. Due to the match being moved indoors, the match was called as there were only four indoor courts available.
