MEMPHIS, Tenn. - One singles entry and two doubles teams will play on Sunday in finals of the Virginia Fall Classic for the Tiger men's tennis team.

Junior Jimmy Khougassian advanced to the consolation finals of the yellow singles bracket with a 6-2, 6-1 win over Winthrop's Arthur Takahashi. In the finals, he will face Western Michigan's John Pelton, who also advanced in straight sets Saturday night.

Khougassian will also play doubles on Sunday, as he and teammate Charlie Ramsay used an 8-3 win over their foes from George Washington. The duo will play the team of Zuck and Wardell from William and Mary, Sunday.

The tandem of Amrit Narasimhan and Benedikt Fischer will be Memphis' one entrant in the championship finals draw, as the former junior college teammates easily moved past the No. 2 seeded team of Adamski and Sartor from Wake Forest, 8-1, to advance to a Sunday final against the No. 4 seeded team of Echtler and Kricka from Stetson.
