FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. - A trio of Tigers had advanced to Sunday play in the final day of the RazorRacket Invitational, only to fall short.

Senior Alex Bucewicz fell to Southwest Baptist's Dante Cipulli, 5-7, 6-2, 10-5 in the semifinals of the A Singles bracket to end a solid weekend, while seniors Mark Finnegan and Scott Felsenthal were each defeated in straight sets in their respective finals. Finnegan, who downed Illinois State's Alban Renard, 6-2, 2-6, 10-8 in the A consolation semifinals, fell to Wichita State's Boris Gubic, 6-1, 7-6 (7-3), while Felsenthal, who downed Southwest Missouri's Jeff Stone, 6-2, 6-0 in the B singles semis, fell to Oklahoma State's Artsem Burmistrau, 6-4, 6-2.

The Tigers return home this weekend for their only fall home tournament appearance at the ITA Southeast Regional, beginning Thursday at The Racquet Club of Memphis. The Tigers will open their spring schedule with an Alumni Match on Jan. 16th, 2005.
