MEMPHIS, Tenn. - Memphis senior Lee Taylor Walker used a 6-2, 6-3 straight set win over Kentucky's Jesse Witten to advance to the semifinals of the ITA Southeast Regional at The Racquet Club of Memphis, Sunday.

Witten came into the tournament the No. 2 seed and the No. 9 ranked singles player in the country. With the win, Walker advances to a semifinal match against No. 9 seed Dmitriy Koch from Tulane. That match begins at 1 p.m., Sunday.

Also starting at 1 p.m. will be the other semifinal between top-seeded Bo Hodge from Georgia, who won his quarterfinal match 6-4, 6-4, and No. 4 seed Romain Ambert, 7-5, 6-0.

The two finalists will qualify for the National Indoor Championships. The singles finals will be played at 10 a.m., Monday, at The Racquet Club of Memphis.
