LEXINGTON, Kent. - Senior Ben Stapp and junior Lee Taylor Walker became the only seeded doubles team to advance to the semifinals with a 9-8 (4) win over the Alabama team of Boyles and Gostek at the Omni Hotels Region III Indoor Championships, Sunday.

The Memphis duo, which is seeded 5th in the tournament and is ranked No. 29 in the country, will face the Lousiana State team of Fisher and Hazley at 9 a.m., Monday. The winner of that match advances to the finals where they will face the winner of the Hiscoz/Mitchell (Alabama) and Birkmann/Mueller (Jacksonville) match at 1 p.m., Monday.

The doubles team that wins the Region III indoor will qualify for the Omni Hotels National Indoor Championships, being held Nov. 7-10 in Dallas, Texas.
