Tennessee Tech and UNC Greensboro On Tap For No. 46 Memphis

MEMPHIS, Tenn. - Coming off of its defeat of No. 13 Tennessee, No. 46 Memphis looks to keep its momentum in weekend matches against Tennessee Tech and UNC Greensboro.
Memphis (1-0) crashed the ITA Rankings this week following its monumental win at No. 13 Tennessee, the largest move in the rankings by any team in the country. The Tigers were previously unranked and were 0-9 all-time against the Vols.
David O'Hare, ranked 50th in singles, and Johnny Grimal look to rebound after falling in the top two singles matches at Tennessee. Joe Salisbury, Connor Glennon, David O'Leary and Leon Nasemann seek to improve their 1-0 start to the season. O'Hare and Salisbury put their No. 47 ranking on the line in doubles play.
Tennessee Tech (0-2) has dropped contests to No. 71 Radford and Chattanooga to start the season, while UNC Greensboro has yet to play a match.
Memphis and Tennessee Tech are slated to start at 6:30 p.m. (CT) on Friday. The Golden Eagles and Spartans will square off Saturday afternoon at 1:00 p.m. (CT) in a neutral-site match. Then, Memphis and UNC Greensboro meet on Sunday at 9:00 a.m. (CT). All matches will be held at The Racquet Club at Memphis.
