Memphis, Tenn. - The University of Memphis (1-3) men's tennis team recorded its first win with a 7-0 win over The University of North Alabama at The Racquet Club, Saturday.

The Tigers swept all three doubles matches before proceeding to win all six singles matches. Only junior Alistair Todd was taken to a third set at No. 2 singles, winning the opening set 6-4, before losing the second set 4-6 and rallying to a victory at 7-6 in the third.

Sophomore team captain Michael LaHaie and freshman Jamie Adams each swept their matches at No. 5 and No. 6 singles, respectively, 6-0, while freshman Ben Stapp lost just one game, winning 6-0 and 6-1.

The Tigers now take on Western Kentucky University at 9 a.m., Sunday. That match will also be held at The Racquet Club.
