MEMPHIS, Tenn. - The University of Memphis men's tennis team will continue its three-match home stands across cross town Rhodes College, Friday, at 6 p.m. at WellWorx. Rhodes steps in to a slot on the Tiger schedule as Nicholls State cancelled their original trip to Memphis to face the Tigers.

The match will be the fourth of the season for the 1-2 Tigers and will be the spring dual season opener for Rhodes. Rhodes is led by junior Kareem Mansur, a two-time All-SCAC first team honoree. The Lynx have finished fourth in the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference in each of the past two seasons.

Memphis is coming off a 7-0 sweep of UT Martin. Benedikt Fischer improved his record to 1-1 at No. 1 singles in that match, and Jimmy Khougassian picked up his first win at No. 2 singles after playing the previous two matches at No. 3. The Tigers' three freshmen then picked up wins to close out the victory, including a win at No. 4 singles for Charlie Ramsay, No. 5 for Cody Loup and No. 6 for Spencer Heflin.

Admission to the match is free. WellWorx is located at 6161 Shelby Oaks Drive in Memphis.

Memphis will close out its home stand with a Feb. 16th match against No. 52 Mississippi State, Feb. 16th at 6 p.m., also at WellWorx. Memphis will then play its next six matches on the road, including a two-day stop in Orlando, Fla., where Memphis will face No. 69 UCF and East Carolina before venturing to Oxford for a match at No. 5 Ole Miss. The Tigers will close out the road swing with matches in Arizona against No. 72 Arizona, No. 57 Arizona State and No. 55 Denver.
