Men's Tennis Team Falls to No. 30 Indiana State
Feb. 12, 2000 Memphis, Tenn.-- - The University of Memphis men's tennis team (2-6, 0-1) found yet another nationally-ranked opponent on their schedule for Saturday. This was the second nationally-ranked opponent Memphis has faced this week, falling at No. 5 Ole Miss, Tuesday. Unfortunately, the Tigers were unable to pull an upset, falling 7-0 to No. 30 Indiana State at the Wimbleton SportsPlex. The Tigers were unable to win a set from the nationally-ranked Indiana State squad after winning two singles matches from Conference USA opponent Southern Miss, Friday. Memphis will enjoy a break before stepping back into competition against Georgia Southern and UAB, Feb. 27, in Birmingham, Ala.
