Senior James Spence has received a wild card entry into the qualifying singles draw of The Regions Morgan Keegan Championships, which begin Saturday. Spence has drawn No. 6 seed Rik DeVoest in the first round.

Spence, a two-year letterwinner at Memphis, is part of the Tigers' No. 1 doubles team that was ranked No. 8 in the country at the beginning of thte spring season. Spence's doubles partner during the fall suffered an injury, and he has been playing No. 1 singles with sophomore Sam Withell since January.
