Birmingham, Ala.-- - The University of Memphis men's tennis team fell to 0-2 in Conference USA with a 6-0 loss to No. 38 UAB, Sunday.

UAB, which advanced to the NCAA Tournament last season, won in straight sets over the Tigers, and did not play doubles matches with the sweep. It was the Tigers fourth match against a nationally-ranked opponent, including at No. 5 Ole Miss, at No. 46 Middle Tennessee State and against No. 36 Indiana State. The Tigers are 0-4 versus ranked teams and have five ranked opponents left, including two on a Texas road trip over spring break.

Memphis hosts Samford and Belmont on Friday and Saturday, respectively, before hosting No. 30 Washington, Mar. 6th.
