Memphis, Tenn. - Memphis' Alex Bucewicz is the Conference USA Men's Tennis Player of the Week for the period ending March 11. Bucewicz won three singles matches and one doubles match as the Tigers advanced to the championship match of the HEB Collegiate Team Championships in Corpus Christi, Texas. The championship match against No. 22 Middle Tennessee State was rained out. Bucewicz posted a 6-2, 6-1 win over Ball State's Matter Larumore and a 6-2, 6-3 triumph over UNLV's Leslie Eisinga. Bucewicz then defeated Louisville's Alex Silversten in the semifinals, 6-1, 4-6, 6-2.
