Men's Tennis Picks up Momentum Heading into Arkansas Match

Clarkesville, Tenn.-- - The University of Memphis men's tennis team picked up more momentum for its Tuesday match against No. 59 Arkansas with a 7-0 blanking of Austin Peay, Sunday. Memphis won all the doubles and singles matches, including three exhibition matches.
Also posting exhibition wins were sophomore team captain Michael LaHaie at No. 7 singles and freshman Jamie Adams at No. 8. LaHaie downed APSU's Matt Lanchashire, 7-5, 6-0, while Adams downed Peter Morsley, 6-3, 6-2.
The Tigers play Arkansas, their eighth nationally-ranked opponent this season, Tuesday, at 1 p.m. The Tigers then return home for their final regular season home match against Oklahoma Christian at 1 p.m. at the Racquet Club, Saturday.
