MEMPHIS, Tenn.--Tiger tennis will head to Murfreesboro, Tenn., for tournament action this Saturday and Sunday, April 2-3, in the Sun Belt Shootout, hosted by Middle Tennessee State University.

Memphis (11-7, 3-3 C-USA) will face the University of Louisiana-Lafayette in the first round of the main draw in a match set for 9 a.m. CT at the Buck Bouldin Tennis Center.

The Tigers are coming off back-to-back wins their last outing on March 26, when they downed conference foe Southern Miss, 5-2, and Tennessee State, 6-1, at The Racquet Club of Memphis.

Junior Leon Naseman and freshmen Joe Salisbury and Johnny Grimal all sit with double-digit wins in singles competition this season. Nasemann leads the program with 11, while also having a team high 14 wins in doubles with partner John Taylor.

The Ragin' Cajuns are 4-8 overall this season but enter the tournament having won three straight, their last being a 6-1 decision over Texas-Pan American, and will try to carry the momentum into the Shootout.

Last year in the Sun Belt Shootout, the U of M posted a 1-2 mark, dropping to opponents MTSU and North Florida before picking up a 5-2 victory over Chattanooga in consolation.
