Men's Tennis Moves Up to No. 32 in National Rankings

MEMPHIS -- - The University of Memphis men's tennis team moved up to No. 32 in the country with its win in the Conference USA Championship match over now No. 25 Tulsa. The Tigers' ranked doubles team of Joe Salisbury and David O'Hare also remain ranked in the doubles portion of the Tuesday rankings, moving to No. 55 in the country as the top-ranked doubles tandem in Conference USA. East Carolina's Joran Vliegen and Colin Roller are the other ranked doubles tandem from C-USA, coming in at No. 65.
Memphis now has a long wait between the end of its conference tournament slate and the start of NCAA play. On Tuesday, April 30, beginning at 5 p.m., the Tigers will find out which regional they will be sent to for NCAA play. There are 16 four-team regionals. The winner of each regional advances to the NCAA Round of 16, which will be hosted this year at the University of Illinois. The first and second round matches will be held May 10-11th and the Round of 16 will be played beginning on May 16th.
