MEMPHIS, Tenn. - Following its runner-up performance in the Conference USA Men's Tennis Championship, Memphis moved up one spot to No. 32 in the ITA rankings released on Tuesday afternoon. Memphis (19-5) has been ranked in 13-consecutive polls this season, reaching as high as No. 30 on March 20.

Memphis opened the C-USA Championship with a 4-0 quarterfinal win against Southern Miss. The Tigers then avenged a loss from earlier in the season to Rice by defeating the 47th-ranked Owls, 4-1, in the semifinals. In the tournament finals, Memphis fell to No. 23 Tulsa. Despite falling to Tulsa in the championship match, the U of M climbed to No. 32 in the ITA poll.

Senior David Henry and Freshman Connor Glennon made their first appearance of the season in the doubles rankings as the 88th-ranked partnering. The duo is 13-5 on the season, with all 18 matches coming at No. 2 doubles.

The ITA is set to release one more ranking on April 30 before selections are made for the NCAA Tournament, which is comprised of team, singles and doubles championships. Both the team and singles championships consist of 64 participants, while only 32 participants are included in the doubles tournament. Selection of the 64 teams will occur on May 1 and the doubles and singles brackets will be released on May 2.
