MEMPHIS, Tenn. - The April 30th rankings for men's tennis were released by the ITA last night and the University of Memphis men's tennis team jumped from No. 33 to No. 31. Memphis (19-5) finished runner-up in the Conference USA Men's Tennis Championship and earned the program's first berth into the NCAA Championships.

The duo of senior David Henry and freshman Connor Glennon ascended 14 spots, from No. 88 to No. 74, in the latest poll. The duo is 13-5 on the season and are owners of a victory over the Ole Miss duo of Nik Sholtz and Jonas Lutjen, currently ranked ninth in the country. Henry and Glennon were also named to the All-Conference USA First Team.

Memphis will face No. 25 Baylor on Friday in the opening round of the NCAA Championships in Starkville, Miss., on the campus of Mississippi State. The match is slated for an 11 a.m. (CT) start.

*Per a request by the NCAA, the April 30 rankings were not released until May 8.
