Sophomore James Spence is one of 12 seeded players in the Division II Singles draw. Bringing a 3-1 mark into the tournament after winning the Flight Two Consolation Singles title at Middle Tennessee, Spence will receive a first-round bye and will face the winner of the Artie Peller (College of Charleston)/Vincent Patry (Georgia Southern) match at 1:30 p.m., Friday. Junior Alex Bucewicz is also in the top half of the Division II draw. Bucewicz will face East Tennessee's Diego Iglesias at 9 a.m., Friday with the winner advancing to a second-round match at 3 p.m. Junior Mark Finnegan is Memphis' third entrant in the Division II singles. Finnegan will play Georgia Tech's Jack Depaolo at 9:30 a.m., Friday, with the winner facing host Georgia's Ricardo Gonzalez, who received a first-round bye, at 3:30 p.m.
