TULSA, Okla. - The doubles tandem of Amrit Narasimhan and Benedikt Fischer saw their doubles schedule and their respective singles runs come to an end in the qualifying draw of the ITA All-American, Tuesday.

The duo lost to the tandem of Joe and Jarrod Epkey from Ball State, 8-1, with Joe Epkey avenging a singles loss to Narasimhan in the pre-qualifying draw. Narasimhan defeated Epkey to move from the pre-qualifying draw in to the qualifying draw, then fell to Andreas Weber from Hawaii, 3-6, 6-2, 6-3.

Fischer also dropped his singles qualifying match, losing 6-4, 6-4 to Nejc Smole of Denver.

The Tigers will regroup as a team and will travel across the state to Knoxville to participate in the Tennessee State Classic, Oct. 13-15th. That tournament features Division I teams from the state of Tennessee all competing, including East Tennessee State, Memphis, Middle Tennessee, Tennessee and Vanderbilt.
