Tigers to Send 18 Track and Field Athletes to the NCAA Postseason

A program-record 18 University of Memphis track and field athletes qualified for the NCAA postseason on Thursday. The Tigers eclipsed the previous record of 14 qualifiers recorded in both 2011 and 2012.

Luis Hanssler and Tuure Hollo took silver and bronze respectively in the men's decathlon, while Xenia Rahn set a new program-record in the women's heptathlon taking silver
