Rogers enters his second year in the Memphis media relations department as the track program's media relations contact. A graduate assistant in The U of M media relations department, he joined the Tiger Track program last spring.

Rogers spent the Fall of 2002 in the National Football League working for the Denver Broncos as a media relations intern. There he compiled weekly player bios, coordinated interviews between the media and players, wrote stories for "Broncos Gameday Magazine", assisted in the gameday operations for both home and away games, and also was involved in a successful promotion which aided Broncos running back Clinton Portis in garnering "Rookie of the Year" honors.

Prior to working in the NFL, he spent three years in the Louisiana State University Sports Information Department as a student assistant football and track SID. He also wrote feature stories on all LSU Sports for the athletic department's website "LSUsports.net."

A native of Lockport, La., Rogers lettered in three sports at Central Lafourche High School: football, track and soccer. He holds a bachelor's degree in journalism from LSU (2002) and is studying sports & leisure commerce at the master's level at the University of Memphis.
