Syverson is a transfer from Norway who will compete as a senior for the University of Memphis in 2004...He has great size and strength as a thrower and will team up with fellow Norwegian Gaute Myklebust, and American Adam Martin to give the Tigers a powerful trio in the throwing events.

2001-2003(NORWEGIAN SCHOOL OF MAMANGEMENT): His college did not have a track team, but he competed in non-college affiliated competitions...Competed for three years in track...Threw the shot put... Placed third in the 2000 Nordic Junior Championships in the shot put...Won the 2002 Nordic Junior Championships in the shot put.
