2008 Outdoor: Competed in seven meets during the 2008 outdoor season...Participated in the 100m dash, the long jump and the triple jump earning six combined top-three finishes for the Tigers...Set personal best marks in the 100m dash with a time of 11.10 and in the long jump with a distance of 7.02m (23-00.50) earning second place...Also placed first in the triple jump with a leap of 15.18m (49-09.75)...Bested that mark with a third place finish at the Ole Miss May Invitational and a mark of 15.24m (50-00.00)...At the 2008 C-USA Outdoor Championships, became a C-USA Champion by setting a new C-USA meet record and personal best triple jump leap of 16.60m (54-05.50)...Mark qualified him for the NCAA Mideast Regional in Fayetteville, Ark....Had a jump of 15.32m (50-03.25) at the Regionals earning him 12th place.
2008 Indoor: Competed in six meets during the 2008 indoor season...Participated in the 55m dash, the 60m dash, the long jump and the triple jump for the Tigers including a combined 11 top-five finishes in the long and triple jump...At the Arkansas State Kickoff Meet at his first collegiate meet, placed third in the triple jump with a leap of 14.63m (48-00.00)...The next meet at the SIU SASF Invitational, earned a second place finish in the long jump with a personal best mark of 7.12m (23-04.50)...Took home another runner-up finish in the long jump at the Arkansas State Invitational with a jump of 7.11m (23-04.00)...Then took home the meet championship in the long jump at the SIU McDonalds Invitational with a mark of 7.04m (23-01.25)...Placed second in the triple jump at the same meet with a jump of 14.52m (47-07.75)...At the SEMO Invitational, grabbed fourth place in the 55m dash with a personal best time of 6.58 in the finals...Earned two more first place titles at the SEMO Invitational in the long jump with a jump of 7.04m (23-01.25) and a triple jump of 14.26m (46-09.50)...At the C-USA Indoor Championships, ran a personal best time 7.15 in the 60m dash prelims...Took third place in the long jump at 7.11m (23-04.00)...In the triple jump, set a personal best 14.65m (48-00.75) mark earning All-Conference honors in sixth place.
