2010 Outdoor: Competed in two meets for the Tigers before injuries sidelined him...was seventh in the discus (44.90m; 140'9") and hammer (47.00m; 154'2") throws at the Rhodes Open.

2010 Indoor: Has the potential to continue to tradition of outstanding throwers in coach Kevin Robinson's program...had four top-eights in the shot put during indoor season...was runner-up in the shot put at the ASU Invitational with a season-best 16.11m (52'10.25") mark...also competed in the weight throw, finishing 10th in Conference USA with a personal-best 16.12m (52'10.75") throw.

Academics: Recipient of Commissioner's Academic Medal and spent his freshman year on the C-USA Academic Honor Roll...spent first two semesters in Tiger 3.0 Club,both on the Dean's List.

Prep: Was a Provincial Champion in shotput and discus...Also a Canadian Shot Put Youth Champion...His career best shot put is 18.20m...His career best discus is 53.20m...Was coached by Don Steen who was the Canadian Olympic Coach at the games in Munich.

Personal: Son of Mike and Lori Willcox... Enjoys weightlifting and hanging out with friends... Was on the honor roll every year during his high school career.
