2011 Outdoor
One of three Tigers to compete at the USA Junior National Championships where he placed fourth in the 400m hurdles with a mark of 52.66s and qualified for the Pan American Junior Championships...One win and three other top-five finishes, running exclusively in the 400m hurdles during the outdoor season... Finished first at the SEMO Invite with a 53.52s mark... Back-to-back weeks in the top five at the Mississippi Open (53.25s, fifth) and Tiger Invitational (53.56s, second)... Earned bronze at the C-USA Outdoor Championships, with his personal-best 52.40s mark giving Memphis two athletes on the podium... Bowed out after the first round of qualifying at the NCAA East Regional, with his 52.85s run unable to move him to the next round; he finished 30th overall.

2011 Indoor
Competed in the 800m run during indoor season... Was fifth at the EIU Mega Meet (1:59.27) and at the Hoosier Hills (1:57.93)... Set a personal-best at the SIU McDonald's, finishing sixth after his 1:56.44 mark.

Prior to Memphis
Ridgeway High School record-holder in 300m hurdles, 400m hurdles, 2000m steeplechase and 1500m run...earned bronze in AAU Junior Olympics in 400m hurdles and 2000m steeplechase...graduated top 20 in a class of more than 300 at Ridgeway.
